Biography
Educator, artist, and designer in the field of architecture and interior design, has practiced since 2000 in the United States and abroad; prior to forming bN-studio, Branquinho worked with a number of international architecture offices, including Rafael Vinoly; her professional experience ranges from small installations to large-scale projects in the residential, retail, restaurants, corporate, institutional, and transportation fields; was a recipient of the American Institute of Architects Eleanor Allwork Scholarship and was awarded the Pratt Institute award of Excellence; has conducted research with not-for-profit organizations in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, regarding housing crises, social/political inclusivity, and urban agricultural initiatives; continues to collaborate internationally on art installations and fabrication workshops, research, and parametric methodology consulting, as well as various ongoing projects.
