Biography
Vinette Thomas, MSLIS is the Assistant to the Dean in the School of Information. She served on the Executive Board of Directors for the Beta Phi Mu International Library and Information Studies Honor Society, and Staff Advisor for the Theta Chapter. As a member of the New York Library Club she helped bring awareness of the club to the Pratt community. Inspired by what she learned through the School of Information’s Strategic Leadership course, she continues to aim at expanding the professional connections of students and alumni. Her latest read is Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy Seals Lead and Win by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin.
