Biography
Zahra’a Nasralla is a second-generation Iraqi-American designer whose work integrates religion, culture, and aesthetics with functionality. They hold a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the American University of Sharjah and a Master’s in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
Zahra’a began their career at Fikra Graphic Design Studio, where they developed a passion for community-focused design through managing art and design exhibitions. At Pratt, they further honed their skills, creating designs that foster a sense of belonging within diasporic communities by addressing unique cultural needs.
Their work has been showcased at various exhibitions, including ICFF in NYC, where they received positive attention for blending cultural narratives with practical design solutions. Zahra’a is committed to using design as a tool for social change, guided by inclusivity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. Their goal is to create designs that enrich lives and foster connections.
