Pratt Summer Housing is very limited, based on availability. Assignment offers will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Summer housing for 2025 will be in our Grand Avenue Residence, and limited Emerson Hall spaces, only.
With limited space and tight timelines for moving from Spring to Summer rooms at the start of Summer, and moving from Summer to Fall rooms at the end, please consider whether Summer Housing on campus meets your needs, and plan accordingly.
Please Note: You must be around and ready to move promptly as soon as your Summer space is available in May, and/or your Fall space is available in late July/early August.
To be eligible to live on campus housing during the Summer, you must meet, and maintain, one of the following requirements:
1) Be enrolled, and remain enrolled, in Summer coursework at Pratt. <– This is our highest priority for Summer Assignments this year.
2) Be enrolled, and remain enrolled, for a Summer internship <– If we have space available after assigning our Summer enrolled students. Pratt’s Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) has resources to assist you in finding and registering for an internship over the Summer. You can also email them with questions at career@pratt.edu
3) Be working, and remain working, in an Pratt Institute office at the Brooklyn campus <– If we have space available after assigning our Summer enrolled students.
Summer housing applications will be available starting in late March/early April, at our Housing Portal: www.pratt.edu/hmpapp
Please submit your housing application by Friday, April 25th for priority placement. All Summer residents must meet one of the previously mentioned requirements by their Move In date, otherwise they will not be permitted to move in.
You can use your Pratt OneKey login to access our housing portal. If you are new to Pratt, and have not yet received your OneKey information, you cannot apply for Summer Housing until you have the OneKey login credentials.
For current Spring 2025 on campus residents: If you apply for Summer Housing from the beginning of the 10 week Summer Sessions, you will be able to remain in your Spring room until your Summer room is ready, likely around May 16th to May 31st.
Spring on campus residents must be around and available to move out of your Spring room and into your Summer room during this time frame, otherwise you may need to move out completely by the Spring Move Out deadline, May 17th, and return at a later date for Summer Housing. Please plan accordingly.
