Diffuse Ground :: Terraforming Collaboration with Generative AI

By Robert Brackett

Along with the d.r.a.Lab research, I also have a series of AI-generated images and physical material experiments that were recently exhibited in Pratt's Transmutation exhibition. Four image panels exploring hypothetical inflatable concrete pavilions align with the d.r.a. work above. I also have a series of works exploring the feedback digital-physical process of collaboration with generative AI that I would like to exhibit. I am attaching a picture of the panels. There are 8 9" x 16" elements, but I can adjust the display based on space and event organization.

A gallery wall featuring four AI-generated renderings of futuristic biomorphic pavilions situated over reflective water landscapes. Each pavilion showcases soft, curved, organic forms inspired by nature, with hollow passages and smooth white surfaces. Autumnal and golden hour lighting enhances the surreal and serene atmosphere, while surrounding trees and natural settings emphasize harmony between architecture and environment.
A gallery installation with numerous prints and sculptural reliefs displayed in a grid pattern along a white wall. The works include macro images, data-driven visualizations, and topographical 3D textures. Themes focus on organic forms, microscopic textures, and speculative architectural environments, arranged to encourage close inspection and aesthetic comparison.
Close-up view of two side-by-side artworks on a gallery wall. On the left, a print of an aerial landscape featuring river-like erosion patterns and crater formations. On the right, a white cast sculpture replicates the erosion patterns in physical form, mimicking the image’s topography with precise grooves and bulges.
