Driving community engagement and reimagining information access for Transportation Alternatives

Transportation Alternatives (TA) is a non-profit advocacy group for safe, equitable streets in New York City. They rely on grassroots activism and research to de-center the automobile from New York’s streets and create safer community spaces. For four months, a team of IXD researchers and designers (Marc Molta, Eva Chen, Daniel Meagher, and Jiae Oh) collaborated with Jacob DeCastro, communications manager for Transportation Alternatives, on improving the TA website experience.
